چکیده
One of the main theoretical issues in developing a theory anisotropic viscoelastic media at finite strains lies proper definition material symmetry group and its evolution with time. In this paper matter is discussed thoroughly addressed by introducing novel remodelling equation compatible principle structural frame indifference, requirement that every inelastic based on multiplicative decomposition deformation gradient must obey to. The laws dissipative process are completely determined two scalar functions, elastic strain energy dissipation densities. choice function allows us to reduce proposed model an fluid, when sufficiently slow, or hyperelastic solid for fast deformations. Finally, few prototype examples highlight role relaxation times constitutive response.

Modelling Anisotropic, Hyperelastic Materials in ABAQUS
ABAQUS offers the possibility to model non-linear isotropic materials as well as linear anisotropic materials. However, it is not possible to use these two capabilities at the same time in order to model anisotropic hyperelastic materials. Gurvich proposed to model such materials by means of the linear superposition of two fictitious materials: a linear anisotropic, and a hyperelastic isotropic...
متن کاملAn Anisotropic Visco-hyperelastic Model Predicting Short-term Strain-rate Dependent Response of Soft Tissues
INTRODUCTION Hyperelastic models for articular cartilage have been developed for decades [1, 2]. These models have some capacity in predicting the cartilage load response in compression, but can unlikely account for time dependent behavior of soft tissues in tension as the inherent viscoelasticity of the tissue has not been taken into account. This study aims at developing an anisotropic viscoh...
متن کاملA Constitutive Model of Hyperelastic Anisotropic Materials: Approach and Implementation in ABAQUS
ABAQUS provides the-state-of-the-art capabilities in hyperelastic modeling of rubber and other isotropic elastomers. Practical interest, however, is often focused on anisotropic elastomer-like materials (e.g., bio-tissues, cord-rubber composites, reinforced polymers, etc.) where properties in various directions are significantly different. The present paper considers a general constitutive mode...

متن کاملA viscoelastic anisotropic hyperelastic constitutive model of the human cornea
A constitutive model based on the continuum mechanics theory has been developed which represents interlamellar cohesion, regional variation of collagen fibril density, 3D anisotropy and both age-related viscoelastic and hyperelastic stiffening behaviour of the human cornea. Experimental data gathered from a number of previous studies on 48 ex vivo human cornea (inflation and shear tests) enable...
